Steel Pan History

The Unique rhythmic music of the Caribbean Islands comes from the steel pan. Developed as a musical instrument during WWII from oil drums discarded by U.S. warships harbored in Trinidad, the steel pan can emulate every note on the musical scale ranging from a single instrument to a whole orchestra. Today, it is known worldwide is a symbol of an innovative and musical people

Hibiscus

Much of the vibrant color of the Caribbean Islands comes from its flora.
The Hibiscus flower, in particular, is found throughout the region in a wide variety of hybrids, ranging from pale yellow and pink hues to rich deep reds and golds. An edible flower, it is rich in nutrients, especially vitamin C. Used in salads, or as a wonderful garnish, it also has healing properties when made into a tea.

About West Indian Bangles:
West Indian Bangles are a tradition of the Caribbean Islands. They were originally created through the unison of East Indian and African designs. These West Indian Bangles are typically worn in pairs but I price and sell them individually so you can choose how many you want to buy. These bangles are unisex such that both men and women wear thick bangles and thin bangles although men tend to prefer the thicker ones. They are often given to children to remind them of their heritage.
