About this bangle:
The bangle is marked along the sides with a unique diamante pattern. The heads are representative of a steel pan or steel drum. These pans or drums are Trinidadian instruments that are prominent around carnival time. The steel pans are casted separately and soldered onto the marked wire with .925 sterling silver solder. Each item is handmade and therefore every piece is unique.

The Unique rhythmic music of the Caribbean Islands comes from the steel pan. Developed as a musical instrument during WWII from oil drums discarded by U.S. warships harbored in Trinidad, the steel pan can emulate every note on the musical scale ranging from a single instrument to a whole orchestra. Today, it is known worldwide is a symbol of an innovative and musical people

They are often given to children to remind them of their heritage.
