Refund Policy

Returns
Our policy is to contact us within 14 days of delivery, and Ship items back to me within: 30 days of delivery. If the purchase is over 30 days we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Canadian Orders
We unfortunately do not offer returns or exchanges on orders shipped to Canada.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We are not responsible for damage that may be caused by mishandling or incorrect use of an item. This includes indents on hollow gold items which are thoroughly inspected before fulfillment. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Custom orders: Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can't accept returns. In some cases engraved items may be returned for a refund of 85% of the item value.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

Broken Items
If the item breaks as a result of manufacturing defect we will gladly replace or refund the item as long as it is within 60 days of purchase. Any item outside of that 60 day period is not eligible for replacement or refund.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
The initial cost of shipping is deducted from the refund even if your order qualified for free shipping. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged as a result of manufacturer error. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@caribbijou.com and send your item to: POBox 1430 Clearwater South Carolina US 29822.

Gift Wrapping (if applicable)
We do not refund gift wrapping as that is an optional charge for time and materials neither of which can be recovered/reused.

Bad Addresses and Unclaimed Orders (if applicable)
Orders that are returned due to an incomplete/incorrect shipping address or due to being unclaimed are subject to a restocking fee which will amount to $10 or 5% of the total value of the order (which ever figure is lower).

Delivery
Once an item is marked as "Delivered" by USPS or any other courier, your order is considered to be fulfilled. If a package is removed from your property after delivery with out consent, consider making a police report as well as contacting your local post office for advice on your specific situation.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
