Flat Small Clam Head Bangle with Calypso Pattern
Products sold individually
Material - genuine sterling silver .925
Wire thickness - .4mm (this is a flat bangle)
About this bangle:
The bangle is marked along the sides with our unique Calypso pattern all the way through. The inside of the bracelet is not marked so that it is comfortable against your skin. The heads are representative of sea shells or clam shells which are commonly found on the beaches of the West Indian Islands. The clam shells are casted separately and soldered onto the marked wire with .925 sterling silver solder. In this pattern I did a lot of bright cuts and the item looks great! Each item is handmade and therefore every piece is unique.
About West Indian Bangles:
West Indian Bangles are a tradition of the Caribbean Islands. They were originally created through the unison of East Indian and African designs. These West Indian Bangles are typically worn in pairs but I price and sell them individually so you can choose how many you want to buy. These bangles are unisex such that both men and women wear thick bangles and thin bangles although men tend to prefer the thicker ones. They are often given to children to remind them of their heritage.
